Provide digital copies of the following documents:

A clear scan of the information pages of your valid, signed passport.
Passport-type photograph: must be uploaded to your applicant profile.
Original, signed Canada passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
Include a passport style photo, with a white background, taken within the last 6 months. You may also choose to upload a photo to your zorder for us to print. There is a surcharge associated with this service.
For multiple entry or 3 month visa requests, you must provide a flight itinerary, showing more than one entry into Vietnam and/or visiting neighbouring countries.
A business letter from sponsoring company in Vietnam, on their letterhead stationary, addressed to The Embassy of Vietnam, and signed by a senior manager (an equivalent to Vice-President or above). Business letters from Canadian companies should adhere to the following guidelines:
  • Briefly introducing the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
  • State the precise nature of the business to be conducted by applicant(ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Vietnam.
  • Specify the type and desired validity of the visa (ie. one year multiple entry business visa). If requesting multiple entry, the letter should specifically request a multiple entry visa and explain why the applicant will be traveling to Vietnam so often.
  • Guarantee of sufficient funds for travel.
  • The Business Letter from sponsoring company must be approved by Immigration in Vietnam.
Letter from the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, sending department, or agency, addressed to "Embassy of Vietnam, Ottawa", explaining purpose of travel and dates of the trip. Letter must contain the applicant's name and the passport number.
