Day 1: New Delhi Arrival 

Welcome to Delhi, India! A monumental city with a vibrant mix of old and new teeming bazaars, stately British boulevards, powerful Mughal palaces and forts, and intricate, ethereal towers, temples and tombs. On arrival at Delhi International Airport you will be met and assisted by our company executive and transferred to your hotel for check in. Overnight in Delhi.


Day 2: New Delhi (B, L, D)

This morning before or after breakfast you will have time to practice yoga with an expert. Next, visit part of Delhi called Shahjahanabad and its Silver Square known as Chandni Chowk. enjoy a thrilling rickshaw ride in this area with its narrow lanes passing by a popular Delhi Bazaar. End the ride at Jama Majid, the largest mosque in the country. Start an hour walking tour of Old Delhi and discover Old Delhi’s food trail. You can purchase traditional snacks or full meals here.

Old Delhi street food is best enjoyed in its original setting. This afternoon you will tour Qutub Minar, Connaught Circus, drive by the Presidents House and the Government Buildings. This evening enjoy a Hindu Cooking Class of Northern India style cuisine and learn about the different foods from North & South India.


Day 3New Delhi ~ Rishikesh (B)

Today will be an early start with a transfer to New Delhi railway station to board the train to Haridwar. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred overland to Rishikesh.  Ever since the Beatles rocked up at the ashram of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in the late ‘60s, Rishikesh has been a magnet for spiritual seekers. Today it styles itself as the ‘Yoga Capital of the World’, with masses of ashrams and all kinds of yoga and meditation classes. Most of this action is north of the main town, where the exquisite setting on the fast flowing Ganges, surrounded by forested hills, is conducive to meditation and mind expansion.  Later today visit Parmarth Niketan Ashram and listen to the hypnotizing chants of Vedic hymns during the evening Ganges Aarti.


Day 4Rishikesh (B)

Early morning you will have a yoga session at the hotel. It is a 5000-year-old Indian body of knowledge. Though many think of yoga only as a physical exercise where people twist, turn, stretch, and breathe in the most complex ways, these are actually only the most superficial aspect of this profound science of unfolding the infinite potentials of the human mind and soul. The science of Yoga imbibes the complete essence of the Way of Life.

After this have your breakfast and shower. After breakfast proceed to visit Ram Jhula & Laxman Jhula which are iron suspension bridge over the holy River Ganges. Both these bridges are famous land mark in Rishikesh and offers panoramic vise of River Ganges and the city having number of temples. Next head to Sivananda Ashram which was founded by Swami Sivananda in 1936 and comes under India’s top most yoga center which is run by Divine Life Society.

Your next stop will be at Triveni Ghat which is a sacred ghat in Rishikesh and is famous for Ganga Aarti. Your next stop will be at Geeta Bhawan which is a large complex and is a major place for devotees as they get free stay during their holy dip in River Ganges with listening to discourses and meditation. Afternoon is at leisure in which you can partake in the activities of your interest.


Day 5Rishikesh (B)

Early morning you will have second yoga session at the hotel. After this have your breakfast and shower. After breakfast drive to Haridwar and proceed to visit Daksha Mahadev Temple which is a famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Next head to Saptrishi Ashram which is an old beautiful ashram located on the banks of River Ganges. Your next stop will be at Pawan Dham which is a social non-profitable organization and is one of the most visited pilgrim site of Hindus. From here head to Kushavarta Ghat which is considered most sacred among all the ghats in Haridwar. All rite and rituals including the Shraddha rite for the departed souls are performed on this ghat. From here head to Mansa Devi Temple, located atop the Sivalik Hills this temple is also known as Bilwa Tirth is one of the Panch Tirth (Five Pilgrimages) within Haridwar.

This evening visit Hari-Ki-Pauri ghat which is a major landmark and a famous ghat on the bank of River Ganges. Attend the world famous Ganga Aarti which takes place in Brahmakund area of this ghat. After visits drive back to Rishikesh.


Day 6Rishikesh (B)

Early morning you will have third yoga session at the hotel. After this have your breakfast and shower. Rest of the day is at leisure in which you can partake in the activities of your interest.  Visit the local market to indulge in shopping and relishing the local food, indulge in the facilities of the hotel, have an interaction with the locals and more.

Today, enjoy a 60 minutes Spa Massage Treatment at the hotel. You can choose between a deep tissue massage, traditional Swedish massage, or Indian ayurveda massage.


Day 7Rishikesh ~ Agra (B)

After breakfast proceed to Agra where is the city of the Taj Mahal, in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Agra has three UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Taj Mahal and the Arga Fort in the city and Fatehpur Sikri nearby.

Stop-over for coffee break and photo stop en-route will be on your request. On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure in which you can partake in the activities of your interest.


Day 8Agra ~ New Delhi (B)

Agra is the city of the Taj Mahal, perhaps the most photographed monument in the world.  Spend some time at the Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday) before driving to the massive Agra Fort. The elegant buildings inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles, built by Emperor Akbar, the maze of the courtyards, mosques & private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire. Return back to Delhi and upon arrival in Delhi, transfer to the hotel and check in.


Day 9New Delhi Departure (B)

Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home as your trip comes to an end.
