There are several must-see attractions that make China so fantastic and you can’t wait to pack your luggage and travel there: The Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Olympic Park, Niushou Mountain, the Lingering Garden, and so on.

Day 1: Beijing, China

Upon arriving in Beijing today, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to the hotel, for self check-in.


Day 2: Beijing (B,L)

In the morning, visit the Juyon Pass of  the famous Great Wall of China, listed as World UNESCO Heritage Site in 1987. It is a series of fortifications made of stone, brick, tamped earth, wood, and other materials, generally built along an east-to-west line across the historical northern borders of China to protect the Chinese Empires. Today, the Great Wall is generally recognized as one of the most impressive architectural feats in history. Enjoy a walk on the wall, seeing the beautiful rugged mountain scenery and the fort and perimeter wall that have been restored to their original glory.

Later, head to the Olympic Park where the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games took place. The park houses ten venues including the Olympic Village, and other supporting facilities. See the Bird’s Nest, the National Stadium, which is situated in Olympic Green Village. Transfer back to the hotel and the remaining of the day will be yours to enjoy or opt for an optional tour.


Day 3: Beijing (B, L)

Start your day with a visit to the Summer Palace. Beijing the largest and most well-preserved royal park in China, it greatly influences Chinese horticulture and landscape with its famous natural views and cultural interests, which also has long been recognized as “the Museum of Royal Gardens”.

After that, visit the Forbidden City, once served as the imperial palace for 24 emperors during the Ming & Qing Dynasties. This tourist attraction was constructed from 1406 to 1420, now known as the Palace Museum, it is the world’s largest palace complex and covers 74 hectares. Since 1925, the Forbidden City has been under the charge of the Palace Museum, whose extensive collection of artwork and artifacts were built upon the imperial collections of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Forbidden City is listed by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 1987, it is now one of the most popular tourist attractions world-wide. Last, transfer back to hotel and enjoy the rest of your day.


Day 4: Beijing to Nanjing (B)

Take a high-speed train to Nanjing. On arrival, visit the Taicheng Wall. The city wall is one of the key historical and cultural remains of Ming Dynasty under state protection. It is a masterpiece of China’s ancient architecture. Afterward, visit the Confucius Temple, dedicated to worshiping China’s most influential philosopher, Confucius. Originally, the temple was constructed in the year of 1034 in the Song Dynasty (420-589). It suffered repeated damage and has been rebuilt on several occasions since that time. The grounds offer an enticing sight of one of the longest screen walls and the largest statue of Confucius in China. Find radiant displays of gold, jade, silver and bronze illustrating the philosopher’s life. Take a break to explore the area around Nanjing Confucius Temple and stop by a series of tourist shops, snack bars, restaurants and tea cafes built in the Ming and Qing architectural styles. Transfer to hotel after the tour and explore this city as your own interests.


Day 5: Nanjing to Yangzhou (B,L)

In the morning, visit the Niushou Mountain, containing a cultural park dedicated to displaying and preserving the mountain’s cultural treasures that date back centuries. Discover beautiful sceneries that exhibit priceless cultural artifacts surrounded in lush greenery. Afterward, continue to Yangzhou and check in at the hotel upon arrival.


Day 6: Yangzhou to Suzhou (B,D)

This morning, start your day with a visit to the Slender West Lake, the heart and soul of Yangzhou. Slender West Lake is a man-made lake where beautiful views and historic points coexist. The lake is filled with beautiful attractions such as its popular Rainbow Bridge, White Pagoda and vibrant lush gardens.

Afterwards, continue to visit Yangzhou 486 Intangible Cultural Heritages Center to learn and experience authentic traditional art forms originating from the city such as block printing, sugar blowing, paper-cutting and embroidery. Continue to the Dongguan Street, where more than 50 celebrities’ residences, mansions, temples and gardens are scattered throughout. Stop by the Ge Garden, Yangzhou’s most iconic garden.

In the late afternoon, head to Li Gon Di Causeway. Using several bridges connecting small islands, painted in grey, white and black, and built in traditional Suzhou architectural style, Li Gong Di Causeway shows the south China water town features. It is a corridor clustered by restaurants from all over the world. Transfer back to hotel after dinner time.


Day 7: Suzhou to Shanghai (B,L)

In the morning, visit the Lingering Garden, one of the four most famous gardens in China. Demonstrating the Qing style, it is well known for the exquisite beauty of its magnificent halls and the various sizes, shapes, and colors of the buildings.

Afterward, continue your trip to Shanghai. On arrival, visit Xintiandi. With its unique concept of construction, it retains its antique walls, tiles and exterior of the Shikumen housing of old Shanghai. Here you can enjoy an international gallery, bars, cafes, boutiques and theme restaurants. When you walk into the district, you will get the taste of both Shanghai in the 1920’s and the 21st century urban lifestyle.

Afterward, head to Nanjing Road, China’s premier shopping street. Today, it is a must-see metropolitan destination attracting thousands of fashion-seeking shoppers from all over the world.


Day 8: Shanghai (B)

Today, the entire day will be at your own leisure to enjoy.


Day 9: Shanghai (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back home or plan the rest of the day on your own.
