Day 2: Abu Dhabi (B)
After breakfast, We proceed to Abu Dhabi tour, The world’s largest hand-loomed carpet, the fastest roller coaster, the highest high tea, the tower with the greatest lean, the largest cluster of cultural buildings of the 21st century – UAE capital Abu Dhabi isn’t afraid to challenge world records. Welcome to an exciting city where nothing stands still…except perhaps the herons in its mangroves.
We will visit Sheikh Zayed Grand mosque, one of the largest Mosques in the world. the largest Mosque in this country, it is
the key place of worship for Friday gathering and Eid prayers. During Eid it may be visited by more than 41,000 people. It was
constructed between 1996 and 2007 and designed by Syrian architect Yousef Abdelky. The building complex measures
approximately 290m (960ft) by 420m (1380ft), covering an area of more than 12 hectares (30 acers), excluding exterior landscaping
and vehicle parking.
Saadiyat Island project where the LOUVRE museum is open and GUGGENHEIM museum is built to complete the image of ABU DHABI as a cultural city. The project, under development, consists of a large, low-lying island, 500 metres (1,600 ft) off the coast of Abu Dhabi island, UAE. A mixed commercial, residential, and leisure project is currently under construction on the island, expected to be completed in 2020. Saadiyat Island is expected to become Abu Dhabi’s cultural centre, mostly for the Island’s Cultural District that is expected to include eight museums.
Yas Island is a man-made island in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where houses the FORMULA 1 YAS circuit & the first attraction park of Ferrari in the world, An impressive attraction park, Louvre museum. Ferrari World is an amusement park and the first Ferrari-branded theme park and has the record for the largest space frame structure ever built. Formula Rossa, the world fastest roller coaster, is also located here. It is an impressive attraction park, the largest covered air-conditioned park in the world with a huge Red Ferrari sign as landmark. We will drop back to the hotel. Lunch & Dinner are on your own.
