Day 1: Tokyo

Upon arrival at Haneda International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Japan is an island nation in the Pacific Ocean with dense cities, imperial palaces, mountainous national parks and thousands of shrines and temples. You will have rest of the day at your leisure.


Day 2: Tokyo (B/L)

After breakfast, you first head to the Imperial Palace of Tokyo – the residence of the royal family – and visit the “double bridge” (Nijubashi) over the moat. The bridge is a symbol of the Palace.

Afterwards you go to the Tokyo Skytree. With a height of 634 metres, it is a broadcasting, restaurant, and observation tower in Sumida.

Then you proceed to Senso-ji, an ancient Buddhist temple. It is Tokyo’s oldest temple, and one of its most significant. The Nakamise-dori is a street on the approach to the temple, which housing many traditional shops for souvenirs.

Lastly, you will visit Meiji Shrine was built in dedication to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken. The original shrine was destroyed during World War II; the current one was re-built in 1958. This area is covered by an evergreen forest that consists of 120,000 trees of 365 different species, which were donated by people from all parts of Japan when the shrine was established.


Day 3Tokyo – Shizouka (B/L/D)

After breakfast, you head to Mt. Fuji which is located on Honshu Island, is the highest mountain in Japan at 3,776.24 meters (12,389 ft.). Fuji Mountain 5th Station, a perfect spot to view the stunning Fuji Mountain.

Then you will visit Oshino Hakkai, a touristy set of eight ponds in Oshino on the site of a former sixth lake that dried out several hundred years ago. The eight ponds are fed by snow melt from the slopes of nearby Mount Fuji that filters down the mountain through porous layers of lava for over 80 years, resulting in very clear spring water that is revered by the locals.

Next, you will visit Lake Kawaguchi before going to Shizuoka Peace Park – which commands a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji and houses the chalky stupa. The stupa, the symbol of the park, keeps the Buddha’s ashes presented by late Indian Prime Minister Nehru. 4 golden images of Buddha are also housed.

Tonight we either enjoy the famous Kaiseki, a traditional multi-course Japanese dinner, or King crab buffet. Enjoy all facilities in the hotel and all kinds of hot spring spa.


Day 4Shizouka – Kyoto (B/L/D)

After breakfast, you head to Atsuta Shrine which is a Shinto shrine traditionally believed to have been established during the reign of Emperor Keikō located in Atsuta-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture in Japan. The shrine is familiarly known as Atsuta-Sama or simply as Miya. The shrine’s Bunkaden, or treasure hall, houses over 4,000 relics, which include 174 Important Cultural Properties and a dagger that is a designated National Treasure of Japan.

Then you will proceed to Magome-juku which was the 43rd of the 69 stations of the Nakasendō, an ancient road that connected Kyoto and Edo during the Edo period. It was also the last of eleven stations along the Kisoji, which was the precursor to a part of the Nakasendō, running through the Kiso Valley.


Day 5Kyoto – Osaka (B/L)

After breakfast, you shall go to the UNESCO World Heritage Site – Kiyomizu-dera. The temple was founded in 778, and its present buildings were constructed in 1633, ordered by the Tokugawa Iemitsu. There is not a single nail used in the entire structure.

Enjoy lunch before going to Tōdai-ji in Nara. Tōdai-ji is a Buddhist temple complex that was once one of the powerful Seven Great Temples, located in the city of Nara, Japan. Its Great Buddha Hall houses the world’s largest bronze statue of the Buddha Vairocana, known in Japanese as Daibutsu.

Afterward we shall spend some times for shopping at the duty free and Shinsaibashi, and enjoy all kind of delicious cuisines in the nearby Dotonbori at your own expense.


Day 6Osaka (B)

After breakfast, tour guide will assist you with taking the airport shuttle (On Own Expense) to airport for your flight back home.
